Sunday's Quotes To Inspire You Week - Let's Talk About Overcoming Obstacles

Written by meredithhutton79 | Sep 8, 2025 1:35:51 AM

It’s no secret that I’ve been struggling lately, with both burnout and fatigue, because I seem to be in another CRPS flare up. It's left me disappointed and bummed that I didn’t get that much time in between the last one and this one. I’ve been fighting it all week, and everything just feels that much harder to do, and requires a lot more focus and attention from me to do it. It’s knocked me off my routine and I’m struggling to get back to it. The weather is also a contributing factor today.

There’s a lot I overcome on a daily basis, hell, even hourly, and a lot of my focus unfortunately is taken up by managing my pain. It really is, no joke, a full time job. It’s at such a high level that my brain is having a hard time being able to focus on anything but the pain signals bombarding it. I know if I go back to Mel Robbins 54321-Go 5 Second Rule, and stick with it, as well as go back over what I learned reading Atomic Habits, while I fall back to my routine, I’ll find myself doing better again. It’s a hard cycle I know well and have to live. By falling back into my routine, I hope to gain the stability and grounding it has afforded me in the past. It’s just getting back into the things that I’m having the problem with, given my legs, neck and back are so bad I’m unable to do much.

So I thought it fitting to make this week’s Sunday’s Quotes To Inspire Your Week about overcoming obstacles. I’m working really hard to work though this pain flare with lots of positive self-care activities and tasks, while continuing to work on my business and overall health. I am trying my best to get back into the swing of things and not let this setback stay any longer than it has to, because I’ve come SO far, and I don’t want to lose all that progress. It’s actually one of my worst fears, losing all the progress and changes I’ve made, because a person can only handle so much.

So I am excited to bring you this week’s quotes. I hope they inspire you as much as they inspired me.
