Sunday's Quotes To Inspire Your Week
Well I was all prepared ahead of time with Sunday’s post written last week, and Sunday came and went with me spending the day in bed. My legs were throbbing, as if they had their own heartbeat, electrical jolts shooting up my legs from my ankles, and it had me overwhelmed to the point I had to lay still and have my eyes closed in a quiet room.
Another week has come and gone! We are finished school and eager to start our summer. Trips to the beach, ice cream and lots of outdoor time.
About a month ago, my husband was looking in the Canadian Tire “As Is” section and came across the Ninja Creami we’d been talking about getting for a hefty discount. The Ninja Creami takes whatever you have made, mixed and frozen, and shaves it down with blades and turns what you’ve frozen into ice cream, gelato, milkshake, slushie, etc. We have been having SO much fun with it. We’ve made custard, frozen it and made gelato and our latest is making jello, waiting for it to set, then freezing it and turning it into gelato. It is really good. We’ve also frozen fresh fruit and water, chocolate milk, vanilla and chocolate pudding, ice tea and coffee. Each summer here we spend a small fortune taking our family out to the marina for ice cream cones, so I thought getting something we can make our own would be really fun. It came with a decent recipe book too, but so far we’ve just been having fun experimenting with things we like.
So this week, to celebrate the beginning of summer, and that high school is finally finished for my kids, Sunday’s Quotes To Inspire Your Week is about summer and the good vibes it brings.
